Cancun is a coastal city which is situated on the Yucatan Channel that separates Cuba and Mexico. It is a city of the Mexico’s easternmost state, Quintana Roo. Centuries ago, Cancun was a deserted island and its coast was comprised of marshes, mangroves, dense jungle and immaculate beaches.
